I just felt the need to unlurk for the first time in this forum, since the issue being discussed is something I noticed a lot as of lately and it's honestly making me worried for the future. Sorry for venting in advance.

 

 

 

For some reason, ARMYs have this mentality that we can't appreciate the maknae line (in most cases Jimin) without bringing up other members. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing thing the other members are getting love too, but you don't need to shade some of them in order to praise the others. It's not our fault some of them are more popular than others, that doesn't mean they deserve less love.
 
It disturbed me to see that clip of their choreographer picking his favorite dancer being passed around with captions that included shady comments such as "tea" or "as expected of our main dancer" or whatever, with replies like "I hope this solves the main dancer issue". What was the point of those? Or recent comments on Ji/n's singing ability saying stuff like "our actual lead vocal". Such shady tweets were passed around and the fandom didn't bat an eye. Where are all the OT7 ARMYs? Are such comments shading the other members really needed in order to praise one of them? Don't even get me started on when they try to downplay Jimin's relationships with other members because of shipping fantasies.

 

Another issue: I was baffled to see the treatment Jimin gets for sometimes not sounding like the CD when he's performing, when half of the western bands I follow BUTCHER the songs when they perform live, and they aren't even dancing lol Besides, Jimin isn't the only one in the group who sometimes goes off-key during live performances and it hurts me to see that people only pay attention to his mistakes. 
 
And when you bring these issues up to other ARMYs, they like to pretend you are exaggerating and everything is fine, we are all OT7 in this house and you are just crazy.
 
I feel like these days I'm turning way too defensive of Jimin because I keep seeing this behavior being repeated. It makes me upset. 
 
And I don't get this. Jimin is such an angel, he cares for the members so much and he's always putting himself down, praising and motivating the others. He works just as hard as the others, he deserves as much love, appreciation and solo opportunities as the other members. Why can everyone else be praised, but not Jimin? Why does everyone deserve solo work and the whole fandom supports it, but Jimin gets bashed for it? They don't even seem to take the time to consider that maybe the members themselves agree with and partake in these decisions. This is reaching unhealthy levels. Hopefully, this mentality will be gone by the time the vocal line starts releasing solo stuff.

Anyway, to compensate for this rant, I will just end with a positive note: I made my boyfriend watch the wings tour the final with me today (he doesn't know the members, but he knows some songs) and Jimin attracted his attention right away. He kept praising his voice and Lie was his favorite solo :)

Just an information.

 

 

 

Seems like that twitter translator who was responsible for some mistranslations about Jimin, including the one that made people call him an animal abuser, after getting exposed over it and other things tried to fool people about Jimin being her second bias but..... did it again with a translation to get him hate, and he is getting from some people, again.

 

 

 

I am only bringing this here because it's not really an small accont, her name used to be @van*tae*kim but it changed to a private twitter with the un @save*yoons.

 

 

 

So if you follow this acc, I just would like you to know that it's already quite clear she dislikes him since it's not the first time

 

 

 

I hate to bring tt drama, lol

 

 

 

 

 

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed. Then she acts like a victim when she's called out. Keeps saying she apologizes but "people don't forgive her and bully her". So her huge following is always jumping in to defend her.

 

She's the most anti-Jimin person I've ever seen and only because of her ship. I don't care about ships, but respect the members please. Her followers are all toxic shippers as well or clueless people who just laugh along.

 

She even made a "blu*emin*s" account with Jimin as the header to prove how much she likes him. Then she went on private and claims to not be van*tae*kim but I have screenshots of her saying she was gonna move to that account LOL.

 

She never translates anything good to do with Jimin and when she does translate what he says, she makes it look like he's rude and that the members hate him. I still remember when she tried to make it seem like Tae couldn't stand Jimin. How disturbed in the head do you have to be to say shit like that? Not to mention all the other awful non-Jimin related things that she did and I regret that I didn't screenshot those.

 

I think C-ARMYs even got involved and exposed her, but I lost that tweet. I think it was code*pjm who had posted about it.

 

Ship whoever you want but leave Jimin alone please, just forget he exists.

A lot of stans have now convinced themselves that Jimin is a bad friend bc he made Taehyung uncomfortable by reading out the question on why he was the last to be revealed. I'm baffled because Tae looks completely unbothered by the question, even smiled a bit afterwards, and Jimin was obv not asking it in a rude way - he even says afterwards that Taehyung wanted to be revealed quickly at the time. But it seems to be a foregone conclusion that he made him uncomfortable. I'm not even sure why it would make him uncomfortable. The implication has always been that it was because he was the 'secret weapon'.

 

Frustrating.

 

 

Regarding the v*ntekim person, I remember when she posted that translation that made it sound like he was an animal abuser, I tweeted her the whole day asking her to correct it and she completely ignored me, all while people were bashing him in the comments.

 

It's like people hit their heads and completely forget how every member loves Jimin so much, how Jimin is there for them when they need support. It's like people forget the one that Tae always mentions as his emotional support is Jimin. That MAYBE the boys know each other and their limits better than some fans. In the concert ment where Tae revealed he almost didn't debut with BTS, he said Jimin was his support during those times. Did they forget? Besides, Jimin almost didn't make it as well, so he knows how Tae feels, why would he want to make him uncomfortable about it?

 

These people keep using every joke or teasing that Jimin does to make him look like a bad friend, when all the members point him as the caring person. All the members tease each other, but Jimin doing it means he's evil. Sorry for bringing this up, but a recent example was when Jimin joked with Jin because of the MC award. Twitter turned on him like he had commited a sin. When I brought up how Jin jokingly called him fat in a previous Run episode to prove that Jimin is teased as well, they said it's not the same thing lmao 

 

I don't have anything against those situations because I have the mental capacity to realize they are friends just joking with each other, they apologize when they go to too far and I know they don't mean to hurt each other. But the moment Jimin teases another member, everyone starts hating on him, like ????

 

Everyone can be savage, but not Jimin for some reason. And in this situation, it wasn't even teasing, which leaves me even more confused.

 

There's so much bitterness against Jimin in general that it's honestly turning me off from the fandom. And when we defend him, we are solo stans. No, baby, you are the one who's anti-Jimin. It's tiring and annoying.

From what I already know, she is a traslator and a korean, who likes to mistranslate things about Jimin to make him sound like a jealous person, a animal abuser, a bad friend and just a jerk in general. Her mistranslations are in a circle, where she gets mad at whatever what, mistranslates, makes him get a lot of hate from her followers (that weren't a small amont), then apologizes, say Jimin is her second bias and gets protection from whoever falls for that.... It didn't happen just once and is ridiculous at this point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This time, after as someone already said, she got exposed in an actual thread in twitter not only about hate Jimin but several other things, she was pretending to like Jimin and the funny part is that the translation that is making some people hate on him this time was not posted in her main accont... girl even tries to get people to hate on him in her other acconts too, like...

The step in the pre-chorus when he's stiff from the shoulder to the elbow and languid from his forearm to his fingers like he's a string puppet...it just plays in my head repeatedly. Ugh, fancams were never good for my mental health.

 

That move is absolutely beautiful, he pulls off the puppet image so well, he really sells the idea with his fluid movements. Not to mention the split he does, my jaw dropped when I watched it for the first time (and second, and third, and fourth...). That move is really hard to do, but he does it so flawlessly, like he is actually a puppet getting his strings cut off or a broken doll. And I don't even know how he rolls his body like that for their final formation (specially in the latest fancam at 3:53, how??)

 

He shows so much emotion on his face and his dancing. He gives it his all to this choreo and really sells the concept of the song imo

Some people are already hating on Jimin for that chalkboard pic. Even on his own tweet. *sigh*. Some were even top comments with quite a lot of likes too.

Also apparently one of Jimin's fansite, heartthrob  gone private too. (She only asked people to write nice comments for him previously.) Maybe some people started attacking her too, tho I'm not sure.

Under hearthrob's tweet, there were more replies crying about it. The post was about not sending hate to Jimin, but solo stans felt the need to try to justify it.

 

By this point, I'm already used to Jimin being disrespected, it's almost a daily thing nowadays.

Today I even blocked mutuals, I wasn't expecting people I slightly knew to react so immaturely.

 

The picture is obviously ruined without one of members' name there, I was also disappointed. But that doesn't mean it's okay to keep blaming Jimin for it... He already accepted he made a mistake and apologized, but some ARMYs chose to turn against him...

Like he needs to write a freaking name on a board to prove their friendship...

It's an old pic I think, he's wearing the same shirt he wears at the beginning of the recent GCF and the place looks the same too. In the recent wedding video, he still has the same haircolor he had at the concerts

After 32857284029 years I want to start talking about Jimin OP, I wasn't thinking of doing this before we got the new OH but I really don't think this is going to move so soon so I want to at least start talking about it.


Some ideas are


Serendipity theme

Lie theme

Love Yourself: HER theme, with the photoshoot you guys like the most

Love Yourself: Tear theme, with the photoshoot you guys like the most

Love Yourself: Answer theme, with the photoshoot you guys like the most


And my personal favorite that is going to be uh... complicated.

Duality Theme... for this theme I wanted to do two OPs, one with Lie theme and one with Serendipity theme.... So how do you put two different ops in one thread?  There's a way to make the op design change everytime someone refreshes the page.

So, when you opened the thread you would get Serendipity design and when you refreshed it, you would get LIE design.


So I wanted opinions about my idea and maybe if people think it's the best thing to do, a poll.


I reeeeally wanted to make it for Jimin birthday.


I'm going to buy the op, btw. Since my ps skills are too messy for what I want for this thread.

Jimin stage presence is always superior, but he was really on fire this performance. Vocals, dancing, and hair was giving me so much life! The red suit was powerful too!

 

It might just be me, I feel this time IDOL is def another era that's Jimin.

 

 

Yeah, I agree. Jimin is really powerful in IDOL. The perfect circle he does with his leg is fascinating, his body just moves so naturally. I really love how he does the chorus as well. His haircut this era is really nice too. He got some really captivating shots in the MV as well, reminded me of BS&T. He looks so happy performing IDOL, I definitely think it's Jimin's era again QRLGYBO.png

I can't wait for his song! I hope he doesn't feel pressured now that the fandom knows for sure he's gonna release a song at one point. Or the fact that they didn't edit out that part of the episode might be a sign that the song is almost finished now and Jimin feels a bit more confident about releasing it. Yessss I'm ready for it. I also remember them mentioning about him releasing a solo album in 2018 in last year's season's greetings or something. They were all kinda joking about it so I didn't assume there was anything finalised then but it does seem like he at least has aspirations on that front.


I realize now that they probably knew Jimin was working on music and just wanted to motivate him, but I'm still holding hope for a solo album somewhere in the future. I'm ashamed to admit but the seasons greetings thing got me super hopeful and excited rlytearpls.png
