I was having this debate up until two weeks ago. Ive decided to get my Bachelor’s and then get a job. Imo, it depends on the degree. In my case having a Master’s with no actual experience is worthless, the master’s becomes an empty qualification. So I’ve decided to get a job after graduating and work a couple years before getting a masters.

I chose the second one and it worked for me . Got my BA and immediately followed by a master's degree  . I think that it can only be a good thing if you have a clear vision of what you want to do with your life ( job ).  If you are not sure I recommend to get your BA work a bit and see if that's what you want and then get your master's . Good luck .

I have a job right now, in the process of getting BA. I have to take a semester or 2 off because I need to find a job where I can have flexibility when it comes to scheduling. I also don't want to be wasting financial aid and taking classes I don't need just to accumulate credits when I cannot even take classes that I need because of my work schedule.

Three months ago after graduating with a BA, I was still considering whether I should do a gap year first to add a bit more work experience to my CV or continue to do my Master's straight away but since my brother also got a job after he did his Master's and my parents preferred that I finish my studies completely since I'm still in my study mode, I decided to go with the second option.

This is partly because I'm not sure if I'd still be interested in furthering my studies once I secure a job and partly because I spoke to my family members about it and got some advice, including accounts of their friends who started working in the same field as mine after doing what I'm doing now.

I took my BA and got a job bc I didn't even wanna go uni in the first place I was so done with studying, but degree = good jobs and I appreciate that I did have the opportunity to go so I did. But no way was I staying on for a masters or anything else. I don't regret my decision to not do a masters at all

I got my BA back in 2013, been working ever since climbing up to the mid managerial level, and now I'm studying to get my master degree at night classes. In my country there are master's course which only has 3 classes per week and it's after office hour but the students must have min 3 years work experience and a recommendation letter from the company they're currently working at.

It's tiring but I think it's worth it since that way I still make money to pay and buy for stuff and also when I get my master degree, I have enough work experience with me to apply to superior position and make a jump in my career

also, I dont think I'm gonna get my PHD like ever. At least in the near future

ps : watch black suit MV
