My mid-terms are finished ayeee back to VN-ing!

 

Edit 1: I started The Great Ace Attorney 2: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke's Resolution and I'm already loving it; the first case is already mind-blowing 

 

Edit 2: Case 2 is not fully translated yet asdfghjkl looks like I will temporarily drop this VN and start reading Labyrinth of Grisaia instead

Little Busters was soooo much fun. the only VN where i bothered to play every single route and re-do some routes to get the real endings. i loved every route and the baseball practise and other minigames were rly fun as well. it's my all-time fave and i spent lots of time to see ever single bit of the story with every little choice.

literally can't pick best girl, i rly liked all of them but i guess the routes that stood out and surprised me the most were haruka, kudryavka and rin's route.

As for the truth, I didn't expect it. even though I had already been surprised before when I played Midori's route because I didn't think this VN would have supernatural elements, I thought it would be pretty realistic. The game didn't turn out how I thought it would because I guessed that "the secret of this world" would be a lot deeper, like it would actually be about the real world. I still liked it though. The game was quite a journey.

I see that you play otomes exclusively only to Android. Perhaps you can try out Mystic Messenger? I hear that it's pretty good though it can be quite time-consuming with the limited hour glasses and all

I stumble my first otome on a blog and the rest are mostly from recommendation in Play Store and Youtube. I'm an Android user but aren't they available on ios too? I've heard of Mystic Messenger before but many said that we have to be online at specific times for specific events(?) and that it can only be repeated/extended with hour glasses.

Anyone wanna recommend new otome games to me? Please do not suggest the one with horse with an ikemen face. I legit cringed at that

Yeah Mystic Messenger is also available on iOS on top of Android. I haven't personally played the game yet since I know it will take me a lot of time to finish but I've read that the chatroom is the most important aspect of the game since it affects the storyline, so I suppose you got to be online most of the time. 

 

You can try Amnesia and Hakuoki for starters since they are both available on Android. You can find more otomes (not limited to Android) on a filtered vndb list here

I'm finished with almost the entire Grisaia series (left with Rauken; not counting Phantom Trigger) and Sharin no Kuni and I can't help comparing the 2 of them since they are so similar lol

Edit :finally got Subahibi as it was 20% of played like 2 hours of it and it seems to be all right so far

I read reviews from those who played it (with some spoilers of course; damn those reviewers) and apparently there are some grotesque scenes which can be extremely disturbing. Heck, I felt disturbed just by reading on those scenes, which is why I'm still contemplating on whether I should read this VN. And by the way, I think the one on Steam only contains 1 chapter out of the 6 chapters that Subahibi has to offer (?). Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I feel like it takes me forever to find and complete a VN. I love them but I'm too picky sometimes and then I have to be in the right mood so I usually miss sales -_-

I mean doki doki was all right for me being fluffy and nice I loved that, although it's true that I might be f up in terms of pschyological stuff I'll give you my full impression of the first two hours, nothing and I mean nothing had faze me so far (although this is coming from someone whom didn't like saya no uta theme but enjoyed the stuff I saw in the vn).

 

Yep the first chapter is only on steam but they have a patch for the rest of the game's chapter (only 300mb) but that's how they abide by steam rules since I think most of what Subahibi is far too rated to put onto steam.

 

I feel like it takes me forever to find and complete a VN. I love them but I'm too picky sometimes and then I have to be in the right mood so I usually miss sales -_-

I mean it's common you just read at your own pace, I'm more of a person who would wait for sales than read them while I know those that get it first day and read them to completiton right after. Just read at your own pace and whatever feels comferable for you,

Higurashi is taking me so much time LMAO I've been playing it for months now but I'm still not finished with it. I really cannot imagine how long I will take for Umineko if Higurashi is already taking me this long
