Why are Dahyun's rap skills slept on?

Don't get me wrong I think Chaeyoung is great and I like the fact that she writes her own stuff, but I feel like Dahyun has the most interesting flow...even compared to girl groups that are known for their rappers!  Her deeper velvety tone really adds some grown woman swagger to her rhymes and I'm glad they let her show it off a bit in Likey.  Listen to her here to really appreciate the laid back swaggy approach she uses.

Because most Twice critics only listen to their title tracks and make judgements as if Title tracks were ever an indication of an idols full set skills.....but w/e

Anyway any idol who doesnt write their own lyrics can rap to any kpop song tbh.....Dubu has facial expressions for everything and can literally switch up her whole aura by smiling or not smiling so it sets her apart from most of the other standard female idol rappers

Slap on some Yg styling and some Teddy Lyrics and Dubu would at least look and sound the part

Edit: Also because Sixteen happened and a talent bar was kinda unfairly placed on twice and Dayhun wasn't really a standout rapping wise (im being nice) and she ultimately got in over arguably better trainees (Retrospect Twice with Somi or Jiwon instead ect)  ....idk if people are still salty about that in late 2017 but nevertheless she was written off in 2015

I like how she sounds while rapping..but I am sure that many people acknowledge her rapping abilities..and not to mention that she has more lines than Chaeyoung..She also has more fans compared to Chaeyoung.

They are both good in general.

I always see people saying how Dahyun should be replaced by Momo and that Chaeyoung is underrated. I think they both bring different vibes that really shouldn't be compared.  Dahyun being more swaggy and laid back, while chaeyoung being more aggressive and fast.

I agree with Chaeyoung being underrated but...why Momo..Dahyun is obviously better than Momo in my opinion..Momo is just..okay.....(sorry Momo fans.)

Yes they are both pretty good at rapping and people should stop comparing them..but well..some fans are really a big fan of comparing and dissing other members.

Because Twice rappers are weak.

They are way better rappers in other Girl Groups.

Why should you praise someone who is mediocre?

Go watch some of Chaeyoung's raps in like Daring Woman or Twice's So Hot stage. The girl is 18, and she already raps well. The 'raps' in TT and Cheer Up don't do her justice.

You don't label Chaeyoung as a weak rapper. She might arguably be the best rapper in new Gen GGs. Just because you've seen her rap in the title tracks doesn't reflect what she actually can do.

Girl can rap really fast, has one of the best flows and never stutters, and most importantly, writes her own damn raps and rhymes, and when she is allowed to rap her own composition, you can see how she is not a "weak" rapper

Go watch some sixteen clips or some shit and tell me she's a weak rapper.

Dahyun is seen as the variety specialist who just raps because she can't sing.

She actually can though, she's a perfectly fine subvocal with a nice warm tone. That's the main reason people want to swap Momo over to rapping.
