Min deserves betta 126 Posted November 1, 2017 Share Posted November 1, 2017 So today on istg i saw a girl wearing beautiful braids in her hair ( she was white ) people in comment section basically tore her down for it Her explanation was it wasnt her intentions to hurt anyone . She simply wanted to look cute in braids and thats why she did it I think she was genuinely just having fun while playing with different hair style so i defended her . One of the people told me they werent allowed to wear braids and dreadlocks by people so now they wont let other wear it too . Its there culture and they have a right over it but i think its ok to let other appreciate another culture as long as they are not manipulating and degrading it . Whats your thought ? The definition of cultural appropriation is not hard to find, people just want an excuse to drag, and honestly real cultural appropriation is so wide spread now it's basically has no meaning any more.
