But their episode wasn't one of the top rated, and the show has never struggled with ratings... I think someone at Netflix is a Revluv haha

Edit: I love to get negged for saying the truth. Ratings neither improved nor dropped after their episode, that is just a fact

Even the KB cast said it many times...that RV really gave the show a new breath

I know, but it didn't change anything about the ratings. The host meant it as the sketch was a breath of fresh air I think, that it was something new, but the show's ratings didn't change before or after their episode

No, it rarely struggled. For it's channel, the ratings were always high, and over the last couple of years they have been steadily rising. I am not dclining their impact, just stating facts. In so many threads I praise Red Velvet and show how big a fan I am, and then I say a fact get called a hater.... wonder why people hate fandoms so much

It's shocking how pressed you are. Even to the point of making up lies to diminish Red Velvet's achievements. "Ratings neither improved nor dropped"

E21 | 1.327| Red Velvet (without Irene)

E22 | 1.632% | Jun Hyo-sung (Secret) & Kyungri (Nine Muses)

The PD literally stated how much Red Velvet's appearance helped change the direction of the show. It allowed them to start inviting more idol groups and increase ratings/popularity.

The show's ratings didnt instantly change. The producers acknowledged as a breath of fresh air in the sense that it influenced how future episodes will be handled; it gave them a clear direction. In addition, multiple clips from the episode have gone viral in Korea esp. the talk between Wendy ang Hodong.

Not pressed just truth.

Before the show averaged 4-5%, and after it average 4-5%. No difference what so ever

As you can see, ratings didn't rise. I agree that the skit went viral, and that their appearance helped improve Idols appearances on that show, but saying ratings rose is simply not true.

I am a big RV fan, anyone that follows my threads knows how much i talk about their success and defend them against people downplaying them, but these are facts that can't be disputed. Ratings stayed the same

I know, and I never denied that, I even said that was true, cause it is. I just said saying the ratings improved is wrong, cause they have stayed the same. I never said that RV's skit wasn't great, and I even said it went viral and helped idols' appearance on the show. All I said was based on facts, and it's a fact that ratings have stayed the same

It's very well known (even by the PD of the show) that RV gave the show a new lease of life. Ratings may not have surged the next day but it definitely started a butterfly effect. Allowing them to invite other idol groups like Twice and IOI. You can argue this all you want but their impact on the show is undeniable. Take it up with the PD of the show if you disagree.

check your facts because it didnt break 2% before Red Velvet and actually Red Velvet even with low ratings bring back ppl to watch this show

we can see ratings up to 2% 2 weeks later

also we dont talk about RV appearance as 5 members but as 4 last year

Omg i just realised you were using the wrong figures. Um, we're talking about their FIRST apperance back in 2016. Time to take the L. The numbers don't LIE https://onehallyu.com/topic/362439-knowing-bros-with-new-best-rating-3728/3rd lowest ever before Red Velvet appeared and change the shows direction. You THOUGHT.
