Or they have a save the trainee thing after the auditions that will include some girls that YG passed over. They've already released teaser clips of auditions of girls that didn't make it. Because it'll be a mess if people like some of the trainees YG didn't like and get put off from the show. A smart thing pd101 did was the company showcases weren't auditions. Whether they did well or not didn't affect their participation in the show. It was just after the first stage round that they could get eliminated.
