Anyone has more info about this Polaris Junior project?

As far as I'm aware, it's going to be a somewhat similar ''project'' to the SM Rookies. They posted a logo for both ''Polaris Girls'' and ''Polaris Boys'' so I don't think it has any affiliation with the new girl group (as of now at least)

I think they might be revealing the juniors daily so maybe tomorrow we'll get Suji and Hajeong officially revealed (if they haven't left already)

I really hope Polaris managed to get some trainees from Japan and America etc. because I know they held auditions there but that doesn't necessarily mean they scouted anyone. I want there to be a Japanese member so badly lmaoo

Does anyone know how old Lee Seoyeon is? I only find info about the one from Id0l Sch00l :/

I'm thinking around 1999 because she's friends with Chuu and Lip from Loona who are same age friends lol

I'm fine with however members but 5 does seem to be lower than the average for kpop groups right now. Ideally I would like 7 members. 

 

Their can still be a lot of members but differentiate them to Loona. I think 7-9 would be good enough to have them different from Loona.

Tbh Polaris Juniors' seems like a SM Rookies thing. This isn't the finalised lineup. Maybe they only want to introduce the trainees guaranteed to debut and then debut them with others that they've kept ''hidden''

From the looks of it they wanted a lot more then just 5 girls lol they were talking about scouting girls from China, Japan, America etc.

I found a pic of Polaris trainees names written on pieces of paper from 2016. The names were:

idk if the other girls shown in the list who aren't from Loona or DIA are still there but it's possible. Hajung and Suji stayed in Polaris since then so I'm sure some of the others did as well.

I wonder if some of the blurred girls from BBC (Polaris' Subsidiary company) will join Polaris Girls if they haven't left BBC yet? A lot of them didn't get the chance to debut in Loona so it makes perfect sense of BBC to send them to Polaris to give them more of an opportunity of debuting, if they don't have plans for them already.

I feel like in terms of visuals Polaris Girls are a bit lacking, not that they're ugly that's not the case whatsoever but so far we haven't seen any members who stand out visually compared to the rest. Like rn, looking at the members Hajeong, Hayoung, Seoyeon & Suji I can't pick out who'd be the visual. Maybe the other girl we saw in the video teaser will be the visual?

I think the visual(s) will probably be the trainne(s) we don't know yet.

Maybe but you'd think they'd introduce the visuals first to grab attention quickly but we'll see what happens.

I hope the new girl group will have around 7 - 9 members. I feel like 5 is a bit small, plus it's been done already. I also hope they have 1 or 2 Japanese member(s) as for concepts/music I want them to bring back the old Ladies' Code sound/look in particular Pretty Pretty and Kiss Kiss.

They need a really strong visual? Can BBC send Yujin to polaris?

Polaris are renowned for having strong visual trainees. The amount of trainees they did have that ended up being popular visuals in other groups is crazy.. just look at Loona's Hyunjin and Heejin, DIA's Jueun, Good Day's Bomin etc. I'm sure they'll pick up some visual girls in the future! They've been holding a ton of auditions within the past few months
