He died for our sins because at first people who sin will normal be punish(death) but in order not to be punish they would sacrifice an animal for the sin committed. So because of all this now God send his only son Jesus Christ to die for our sins so whenever we sin again we will not be punish(death) or have to sacrifice an animal.
