Girls what do you think when other girls give you negative comments on your face or makeup?

It can intentional or not. Even on days when I purposelyhave a full face coverup (does bbcream count lol), eyemakeup, etc., I would still get comments like "you look so tired" and it just brings down my self esteem. I mean, on days I don't even try, nobody says anything, but when I do have hella makeup on (I try), I get negative comments instead lol

Rude af girls!!!

People tell me straight as it is and I appreciate it, such as:

"You should blend it better here"

"Your mascara is smearing"

"You have lipstick on your teeth"

It depends. If I think I look good and someone tried to bring down my self esteem I would tell them to worry about their own face. It's one thing to give someone advice and another thing to try to embarrass them by making digs at their appearance while making it seem like they're trying to help.

Never had bad comments, I've had criticism on how to do my makeup better but that's not that negative.

 

If I did I'd probably just ignore them, I know I look fabulous.

I have never had this happen to me, I always get complimented instead. However, if it did happen, my reaction would depend on who said the comment: are they a professional or at least good at makeup? Is their comment meant as constructive criticism? I will then take it seriously and won't be at all offended, on the contrary I'd be grateful for the feedback.

 

If they're godawful in makeup or just trying to rile me up, I'd brush it off and laugh tbh.
