what do you do to feel better about yourself?

nothing does tbh. i feel so inferior and when i compare myself to others i feel bad and insecure

don't sis

there's always something to love about yourself

there's always something that is unique about you

that nobody could even dream to replicate

judging your worth by comparing yourself to other people

isn't realistic, because everybody is good at something

I can't believe that you'd just be an inferior being

I feel quite good.

Try writing down how you feel about yourself.

For every adjective, state why you feel this way.

Elaborate on the why, if possible.

Write what you've done to change it.

Write what you haven't tried and go from there.

Sometimes, processing things in a rational (rather than emotional) manner can help place us on a road to improvement.

Ex:

Feel hopeless - because nothing is working out - I'm trying to lose weight but I'm not getting anywhere - I've tried abstaining from meat and a lot of sugar - I haven't tried an exercise routine or watching calories.

as lame as it sounds, I usually cry at times like that. Bcs when I cry, I can pour all of my emotions. I tried to pour it onto words, sometimes drawings/doodles, but I usually ended up "ugh, this is not looks like what I wanted" and it caused me more stress. And then, I sleep lol.

But lately, whenever I feel down, I always remember about Nu'est. Why? They've been through a lot on  their entire pre-broduce careerin the past 5 years, but now, people start to recognize them, and start to love them, respect them, support them. And 4 of them are actually born in 1995, just like me, so I'm like "if they can do it, I can do it too!"

This picture below is my desktop background. This is a screenshot from Nu;est W's first win last week. I put this as my background to remind me that everything will be okay if I'm not giving up:)

i think the most important thing to start with is understanding where your low self esteem is coming from. sometimes there are little things you can work to change. like for me a huge part of my self consciousness was coming from my weight and the state of my skin. so i started making changes in my diet and visiting a dermatologist about skin care and though i'm far from being 100% satisfied, i think it definitely helps to do some self reflecting. take steps towards improving things that can be improved and coming to terms with the things that can't be.

thankx for this tip

it's true that most of the time I get caught in everything

that is happening and I don't actually take time to process everything

it all piles up and I feel like I'm carrying the weight

of the world on shoulders and I end up feeling stuck and miserable

this is so sweet, I don't stan Nu;est

but I remember their debut and how they slowly lost general public interest

I appreciate their recent success even if I don't follow them

really proves that everything is possible

well I don't exactly have low self esteem

I use to but work hard on myself to change that

and actually what is happening right now is a direct consequence of that

I changed a lot of things in live

like I lost weight tried to improve my general look

to feel confident in real life, and everything was doing well

but recently I've been having some obstacles

because I went out my wait to change literally everything about my life

like moving in alone, changing school, I'm facing some hardships

that I'm not necessarily ready to face

and I feel bad about my self because I feel like doing poorly

dealing with my life and it's putting a burden on my family as well

I feel like I'm flopping at everything

i never feel good about myself

not at some of you

for not appreciating who you are

love yourself folks
