The family of the deceased has revealed a photo of the injury caused by Bugsy's bite.

Siwon's family had submitted proof to the police that there was no bacillus pyocyaneus in Bugsy's mouth, as checked by his veterinarian. The bacteria was the kind found in the deceased victim's blood and saliva and thought to be the cause of death. Not only so, dogs with an abundant amount of the bacteria in their mouths are easily identifiable because of the smell and color of the dog's mouth caused by the bacteria, and there were studies made that only about 6% of the bacteria in a dog's mouth is the bacillus pyocyaneus.

However, the victim's family is not so ready to believe the results as the test was not run immediately after the bite but days afterward, and Bugsy's mouth could have easily been cleaned by either the family or the veterinarian. Also, the bacteria found in the victim's body is not the type of bacteria usually found in victims of septicemia from hospitals. The bacillus pyocyaneus found in hospitals usually have high resistance to antibacterial medicine, but the kind found in the victim was shown to have very low resistance.

In addition, as the victim was cremated without an autopsy as per the police's suggestions. The family was originally not going to drag the situation, and because the police had told them an autopsy would mean rough handling of the body, they decided not to have one.

For a small dog, that's a pretty big bite.

I am glad to hear the Bugsy has been rehomed. The behavior that is making him bite is one that can amended with proper care, and I hope whoever he is with now has the ability to work with that dogs needs

There are people on other sites that are still attacking the victim -“they said they were good neighbors and they release this photoâ€- being one of the more ignorant comments I saw.

The Choi’s Keep coming out with statements downplaying the dogs part in her death when she wouldn’t have died if Bugsy never bit her. Siwon’s father has not made a genuine statement of remorse without throwing in qualifiers.

If you ask me, the surviving family members are saints. Not only have they lost someone but they have to deal with the other family trying to make excuses, oppa defense squad, and reporters butting in to their business. If the son wants to release a photo and defend his mother then let him. He has every right to.

I don't think Bugsy was rehomed but likely taken to a shelter where it can find a proper family. For Bugsy to be rehomed immediately means they found someone to hand him over to.

As a dog owner, I decided to stay quiet with my opinions but now I can't. That dog needs to be put down.

It will cause more harm to others because the Choi family seems to have no intention of putting a muzzle and leash on Bugsy.

uh did you read to the end? It says the Kim family heard that the Choi family no longer have custody of Bugsy and that Bugsy was sent somewhere else.

I read the end, but that doesn't necessary screams like they are taking any precautions with the dog now that it's somewhere else. Who's to say whoever have Bugsy is gonna muzzle it? The dog bites its owner, owners' friends and strangers alike. It is not safe to have that dog somewhere else with more innocent people.

I agree the dog should be put down at this point.

Big applaud to the victim’s family if anything for their elegant responses throughout the entire situation, however, this wasn’t just a simple bite and the Choi’s need to reflect on that next time they even think of getting an animal. Let’s all be responsible when it comes to taking care of another life and this wouldn’t happen as often.
