i got scammed on depop. help!

so my stupidass was shopping on depop sunday night (midnight uh oh) and i was looking for a places + faces bag bc i rly like their shoulder bags.

 

i saw that someone was selling it for $70, and i was like ohh this is a steal not taking in account the amount of followers the guy had and the reviews he had. so i dmed the guy asking if he could reduce the price, then my stupid ass buys it bc i saw smth online that had the same tag. i panicked thinking it would be high in demand and just pressed buy.

 

i know it's fake bc i compared the zipper tags on the real site and his; it was completely different.

 

then i look at where i found the tag and it was in an imgur album talking about a fake P + F bag

 

... fml i already bought it

 

 

so i messaged the seller and they would NOT reply to me. then i look today and i see the guy sent it yesterday or today AND HE DIDN'T SAY SHIT (i looked at my receipt on the depop app).

 

mind you, the guy hasn't said ANYTHING TO ME AT ALL. NOTHING.

 

AND HE FUCKING BLOCKED ME. NOW I KNOW IT'S FAKE.

 

 

and bc im a petty bitch i made a fake account and said what was on my mind

 

I opened a care on paypal and it says there's a message from the seller but it's not showing up. i don't even know if there's a high chance of me getting my money back; i just want it back i'll even pay for the shipping back i just want $75 back.

 

and yeah i know i was stupid but im so annoyed

 

at least be like no i don't do returns sorry. I CAN'T SAY SHIT TO THAT BUT NO THE GUY CAN'T EVEN SPEAK APPARENTLY.

try to contact depop and see what their policies are and see if you could somehow cancel it immediately. if u can cancel get into contact with your bank and try to stop that transaction to go through

the thing is the transaction already went through and they already sent the package. can i still do that?

I guess you may have to wait until it's actually delivered to complain and try to ask for your money. But like they said if the seller doesnt comply you need to contact them. It may be lengthy process tbh to get your money back

well i think you could argur that he was still selling it and advertising it as a real bag. do you have an order history on the site or on paypal?

yes, ive ordered a few times on depop and ive used paypal around 10-15 times. does that contribute to anything?
