The difference is IBI was purely made by LOEN, while JBJ is actually a fans-requested group, and now LOEN made it for real. JaredG 552 Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 It was a fan-made fantasy line up of Produce 101 trainees who were eliminated before the finale and because the idea was popular, it reached the members themselves who found out about it and took a group photo during the finale concert in July and uploaded it on their sns, which created media buzz and the idea got even more hyped. I saw someone commenting that compared to Wanna One, their dorms are bigger + more expensive (?) (could be due to less members), and their company's only taking 40% of the profit, 60% to them, and they can actually go out in the open bcs they don't have as much sasaengs/akgaes as W1. Musically too, their title track was done by a Grammy nominee, & their choreography + MV was done by the same ones who did EXO & NCT's. I'm also seeing them taking the advantage of doing the sexy image well as they have no underage members ahah. Not to forget, the members have a large circle of idol friends (obv W1, Hotshot, Topp Dogg, Nu'est, P101 related) like Girls Day Minah, BAP's Jongup and Zelo, Teen Top's Ricky, Highlight (they invited Kenta to hang out with them!), and Akmu's Suhyun to name a few.
