What caught the attention of people was the fact that Julia and Lena had lesbian gimmick that was broadcast across many different European countries were early in the 2000s. That was extremely controversial and provocative, yet they still amassed incredible success. Regarding Yulia's allegedly homophobia, I think her words got kinda twisted, but that's a whole different story. And she's actually bisexual btw.
