I'm the proud owner of Megitsune Limited "Ki" Edition and the Album limited edition as well. Waiting for them to release their Budokan concert on Blu-ray to get that too.

 

Their artwork is amazing, I recommend everyone to get something in physical format. BABYMETAL Apocalypse had an amazing booklet but sadly I couldn't get it:

^ I've been spending all my money on Momoiro Clover Z and Ebichu Blu-rays so I need to recover financially. This summer there's going to be a lot of interesting concert releases and I hope BABYMETAL at Budokan would be one of them. I think most idols take 6 months between the concert and the DVD so I guess it would be around September.

is really a movie: Babymetal videoclips are beautifully choreographed to music from The Velvet Underground to the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack. Give it a few minutes, and you will watch to the end:

 

That's a very good video, I wouldn't have thought babymetal would fit that music so well.

 

I don't own anything from babymetal.. yet.

I only have the album from itunes but I would like the physical thing and a DVD from one of their concerts and like others I would have to order the from internet. But the thing I want the most is to go to one of their concerts, if they come to america or if I make a trip to Japan... I'm willing to pay ridiculous money for that -_-

 

There are many instrumental covers of Babymetal and these are the ones I like the most.

Today is the new "school term" for Sakura Gakuin, the idol group that Yui and Moa belongs to. They will also be selecting their new student president. Since the student president is usually the most senior member of the group, it will either be Yui or Moa.

 

Now the student president in Sakura Gakuin is more than just a nominal leader. They have to attend all events (other members do not have to if they have school activities), and they also have to be involved in planning performances etc.

 

Because of the heavy demands on the president, some Japanese fans think that it could be some other member as the president since Yui and Moa are already very busy with BABYMETAL. 

 

But if either of them are elected as the student president, I wonder how they will juggle that, BABYMETAL and school work, and how management will split their time between Sakura Gakuin and BABYMETAL.

I think she'll make a great student president in the same mold as Ayami Muto ... the clown president :D.

 

Seriously, even though she is quite the joker in interviews and such, I think she is actually the best speaker among all the SG members, past and present. She can do formal and informal and is quick on her feet. As the public face of the group she is more than up to the task. For background work, she has the rest of the council members to rely on

I agree, Moa is a pro when it comes to interviews and speaking in public. Poor Yui always looks a little scared but that's part of the charm.

 

It's sad that they'll graduate next year. I bet they are going to miss doing something more "idolish", specially Moa who seems to be born to do it.

BABYMETAL is as Idol as it is metal, so she'll be getting the best of both worlds. Anyway, I think BABYMETAL will undergo some changes (major or minor) once Moa and Yui graduate from SG, so that's another exciting unknown to look forward to.
