Yeah Himetan's her sister, I thought I was losing my mind when I saw Su-Metal because they look similar and sing the same too. I think Suzuka's better though but that's not shocking since she's the lead vocal in her group...

 

Both have the same tone, but Suzuka is far more superior technically. It's expected, Suzuka's skill is developed through the challenge she has as lead vocalist of both Sakura Gakuin and Babymetal. While her sister is just one of many members of Nogizaka46.

So I know that the other group the girls were in, you have to leave once you graduate junior high school. So that means Yuimetal and Moametal should be leaving that group in the near future? I heard they were graduating soon.

 

Anyway, is Babymetal a group that will stay the three of them forever? 

 

Yui and Moa are already the oldest in Sakura Gakuin. Next year, they'll graduate. BABYMETAL's formation will stay as three of them, the last announcement from their management said this group/subunit is "temporary", but seeing how popular they are, I think it will last long enough.

I've been watching a lot of live performances and I've been really impressed by Su. Like she moves around and dances so much while still remaining in pitch perfect and hitting the notes strongly. I thought they had to have been lip syncing at first, but then I was like, NOPE ITS REAL 

 

 

I sure hope so! Do you think Babymetal will be even more active once Yui and Moa graduate. All 3 will be free to just focus on Babymetal or do you think that them being in 2 groups didn't really affect their activities anyway?

I think they'll be more active when Yui and Moa graduated. I hope so.

 

2 years ago they still lipsynced their performances, but I think since mid 2013 Su always sing live. This video is live streaming from AFASG 2012, only in Headbanger Su sang live. I'm sure she practice a lot after graduated from Sakura Gakuin.

 

 

 

Even better if one day Yui and Moa also sing some line.

Ah, meant to ask this. So did the girls not promote Gimme Chocolate on any shows like Music Japan or anything like that? Or was it not a proper single?

Normally ssa concert will use 10k-15k seats, an arena setup. unless like momoclo for their xmas concert announced to use stadium setup with 25k-30k seats. 37k is only for concert in stadium setup with center stage.

I think babymetal is in a race with shiritsu ebisu chuugaku with concert venues. Ebichu also had held makuhari messe, budokan, SSA and next in Yokohama Arena. And both groups have same average age.

If they don't announce a new single at tomorrow's concert, the next one will probably be next year. Just before the 10th concert?

BABYMETAL is in the line up for next year's rock on the range heavy metal festival in Colombus, Ohio.

That's awesome, Babymetal will be the only japanese act on that festival.

^ that makes more sense that it being on a closed space. Which proves that after Nissan Stadium you have to aim at parking lots (or airports) haha

If you remember, we talked about this before. Bigger than Nissan Stadium, one is makuhari messe parking lot, another is Tokyo Racecourse with around 200k capacity
