So I saw Babymetal on the Youtubers react thing for the first time and I was just like "HOW DID I NEVER KNOW ABOUT THEM  "

 

I'm totally into them now, lol. I need to download and watch all the things.

So I know that the other group the girls were in, you have to leave once you graduate junior high school. So that means Yuimetal and Moametal should be leaving that group in the near future? I heard they were graduating soon.

 

Anyway, is Babymetal a group that will stay the three of them forever?

Not sure if it's gonna just be the three of them or they're gonna switch in and out others as more members graduate, but I think they're listed as a subunit of the original group. 

 

I feel like Babymetal would be so weird without those three. Especially if Su-metal isn't the main vocalist. 

 

I'm not sure how well a graduation system would work with this group. I think there's room for them to grow with Babymetal if they want to continue doing it.

I agree. They can actually grow and develop in their singing especially since they're still quite young. 

 

I've been watching a lot of live performances and I've been really impressed by Su. Like she moves around and dances so much while still remaining in pitch perfect and hitting the notes strongly. I thought they had to have been lip syncing at first, but then I was like, NOPE ITS REAL 

 

Yui and Moa are already the oldest in Sakura Gakuin. Next year, they'll graduate. BABYMETAL's formation will stay as three of them, the last announcement from their management said this group/subunit is "temporary", but seeing how popular they are, I think it will last long enough.

 

I sure hope so! Do you think Babymetal will be even more active once Yui and Moa graduate. All 3 will be free to just focus on Babymetal or do you think that them being in 2 groups didn't really affect their activities anyway?

I think they'll be more active when Yui and Moa graduated. I hope so.

 

2 years ago they still lipsynced their performances, but I think since mid 2013 Su always sing live. This video is live streaming from AFASG 2012, only in Headbanger Su sang live. I'm sure she practice a lot after graduated from Sakura Gakuin.

 

Even better if one day Yui and Moa also sing some line.

 

I don't think I watched this one before. But it's funny because I had no idea when things were, I thought Gimme Choko was one of their older songs at first. I guess because it seemed so popular and usually people's older songs are most popular. but eventually I found out that is their latest song lmao. 

 

If I had to pick my favorite songs I'd say definitely Gimme Choko and Megitsune.

Also, I read the rules for new custom badges and holy shit, it's 250,000 won for one new custom award and we'd need 4 for the group + all the individual awards. I'd definitely pay for the group award myself though.

After the voting I will see what badges get chosen. If my faves get chosen I might give more won to this but for now I am just gonna commit to the Group Babymetal award lol.

Babymetal Death is my least favorite song and I usually skip it when listening to the album. But I think it's a good song to have because it's a good opening song for concerts.

Ah, meant to ask this. So did the girls not promote Gimme Chocolate on any shows like Music Japan or anything like that? Or was it not a proper single?

for the Sonisphere, I would love to see them perform the set that they did during Summer Sonic 2013 on the Rainbow Stage as per the live dvd with the special edition album. that performance rocks!

 

Since they'll be performing on the Bohemia tent, so it'll be quite small and intimate with the audience rather than the open air stage such as the Apollo and Saturn stage for the big acts. would be expecting a circle pit as huge as the tent itself and a wall of death charge.

 

the probable set list for a 30 mins set. will be expecting the heavy hitter set list that'll keep the crowd mosh*sh for the whole set.
