[APPRECIATION] J-ARMY deserves all the praise for being silent warriors for BTS in Japan

It was 80k attendance not 100k

K-ARMY seem to have something against J-ARMY (because BTS did more concerts over there) and I-ARMY seem to be sharing that attitude (because they don't share content as much?) J-ARMY fandom has their own issues, too, but they do seem to be growing in number and doing their part to support BTS, so pats on the back for them!

My mutual friend told me that J-ARMY are growing real fast these days (BTS and Twice are basically the Hallyu trend in Japan right now). J-ARMY is kinda similar to I-ARMY (active online, ready to fight with others. Japan is really against Hallyu wave. They only kinda respect DBSK). Other Hallyu groups fans are usually just ignore those negative things but J-ARMY usually defend and create huge mess online. She says that it's the first time she saw a Korean group fandom that obsessive and passionate. But I think it's a good thing and I also appreciate J-ARMYlaugh.png

Hahahaha. Sounds like I-ARMY and J-ARMY together could really raise some hell. I don't know if it's a relief or a shame that we're not more well-connected.

I-army in the US has to fight racism and J-army has to fight nationalism.

I agree, they deserve more love.

I feel part of the reasons is because we do not have more fans translating stuff about Jfans, like we do with Kfans/knetz.

It's more than about concerts lol...apparently it's a cultural thing. Deeply rooted. Koreans in general can't seem to forgive the Japanese. They love to drag them and be petty.

The concerts are the icing on the cake tho. Korean fandoms know that traditionally kpop groups focus more in Japan.(more money and opportunities). Kfans are always whining, but at the same time they know the Korean market alone can't support a group. And they're proud when their favs achieve their goals/dreams and/or recognized. (e.g Tokyo Dome)

edit: Some I-armys are simply jealous. It's not about content. They're taking their anger out on Jfans. They're upset because they want more opportunities to see BTS at a concert too.
