SF9’s Zuho has been getting guidance from one of his role models, Suga of BTS!

Zuho is a rapper in the FNC Entertainment rookie boy group SF9, and he’s often expressed his admiration for BTS, as well as named them as the celebrities he most wants to become friends with.

After Zuho mentioned on a radio show on October 21 that he’s been talking to BTS’ Suga, fans asked Zuho for more information about his relationship with Suga during a V Live broadcast the next day.

“He gives me so much advice and support, more than anyone else does,†replied Zuho. “So I’m trying to follow him well. No matter what, he’s always watching over me. He’s really helped me a lot.â€

“I have so many questions I want to ask him, because he’s such a great writer,†he said. He added with a laugh, “That’s why I’m always trying to follow him. He’s a senior artist I really like. He’s one of my role models.â€

Like Suga, Zuho has been taking part in composing and writing lyrics for songs on his group’s albums, most recently for their new mini album “Knights of the Sun†featuring the title track “O Sole Mio.â€

I read this earlier on soompi and found it really cute. I like how a lot of small company idols tend to gravitate toward BTS almost as their company sunbaes since so few of them have actual company sunbaes. SF9 has done some pretty great stuff recently, and I hope that Zuho gets to keep working on his composition skills. It's endearing to me that Suga appears to be receptive and willing to talk to him about making music and give advice.

This is so cute! Yoongi out here being friends with his role model Tablo and getting his own younger person to mentor.

I don't know a lot about SF9, but I'll be sure to check them out some time. I like that Zuho works on their music.

I was going to say this! It's so cute, it's almost like BTS and their little ducklings from various tiny companies.

This is so cute and heartwarming. I love how supportive and kind BTS are towards other groups, specially those from small company idols and rookies.

I might not know much about SF9 but I wish them a lot of success.

I can't handle the cuteness. This is really sweet.

I remember Suran also thanking Suga for helping her through tough times musically-wise, and it's nice to see him helping Zuho here as well. I suspect he might be giving advice to more people that we haven't yet known about. He really is a great guy. My man.

It's funny how we almost always get to learn about Suga's friendships only when his friends or hoobaes bring him up in interviews since he's quite private about his relationships with those outside of Bangtan (except for Tablo maybe).

That said, it's kinda weird but cool that he's now the sunbae to adoring and admiring young idols in the industry and most of those groups who choose Bangtan as their role models are from smaller companies. Bangtan has become the exemplary small company idol group whose success you should try to take notes from and becomes an inspiration to many others to not give up on their dreams. :rlytearpls:

I remember the guy from Monsta X (I think it was Wonho) also once said that Suga praised his lyrics or so...He is so sweet to his hoobaes.

I love how other rookie groups look up to them like they are their company sunbaes warstarplz.png
