Their main issue was that they really didn't stand out much from the crowd when compare to others. They were like SM but had trouble making their members stand out. Hence their problem, they were still thinking they were competing with SM during the 90's and early 2000's when their were a slew of upcoming companies with their brand of acts Other issues was having to pick out some of the weakest tracks to be promoted. Rainbow is like biggest tragedy, like seriously? Gossip Girl as the track? Especially when you check out their mini had better tracks. It was not until maybe 4 years ago when they finally began to have their acts put out better title tracks, and they did a good job with Kara for awhile promoting in Japan. But with Kara now in dire straights, SS501 leaving, they don't seemed to know what to do with their other acts atm. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm quite surprised that you didn't highlight Sechs Kies, FinK.L and Click B. It was during their era where DSP were SM's rivals, hence considered to be a top company.
