sue + advocate for better training.

As someone who has owned dogs in the past, it's on the owner to properly raise their dog. Don't get them because they're cute, or because you want to have an adorable accessory. They are a commitment. They have to be socialized properly, and well trained, and if that's not possible - make sure they are always leashed or muzzled if they are prone to acts of violence in public.

If your neighbour's dog bit your Mum and she died,

and the cause of her death was an infection caused by the dog, what would you do?

Don't worry the votes are anonymous. I'm just curious.

Why are you change the vote?

I think people who vote Demand for the dog to be put down because it originally Sue the owner of the pet after the death/Demand for the dog to be put down.

I lost my shit and wanted to kill my neighbors little dog because it killed their other smaller dog horrifically, it mauled it like a rag doll snapping it's neck...

So I don't think I'd be able to keep my cool in the heat of the moment if it were my mom..

I'd be crazy upset, but lawsuits aren't going to bring my hypothetical mother back, and you can only blame the owner so much and no more. Financial compensation will only ease the burden of costs but...y'know...

Emotions will run wild, but reality is reality. It's just one of those very unfortunate things.

id probably wouldnt care if it got put down, because whether or not it wouldnt undo what happened. Id advocate for better dog control and probably have an inner resentment of a certain breed of dogs forever. And sue the owner to the ground. then cry every day

also id never want to see the dog or that neighbour EVER again
