These girls have waited 4-5 years full of of media charades to finally debut and now they wait 1+ years to get a proper album. An album. An album. Not 2 songs, but album. A-L-B-U-M. I don't think I've ever seen a rookie group being promoted in a way YG promotes Blackpink.Jennie's face, tone of her voice and her meek cheering with "Let's not give up, both of us" say everything. I've learned my lesson with YG and what you have to expect if you wanna go really hard on his artists, but this clip is just sad and it breaks my heart because it reminds me that everytime we feel mad about BP not having a comeback, the girls must feel even worse. As someone who has been following YG in the past, it’s difficult to demand for a comeback unless the artist himself produces the album/songs on par with the agency’s standard. If BP continues to become fully dependent with Teddy, who’s in my observation has already pulled all his aces during 2NE1’s prime, we can’t expect a proper comeback anytime soon. What's his strategy of barely producing songs for BP and promoting them? It makes it seem like he's just in for the quick buck and doesn't care for his artists that much. At first I thought maybe the girls were okay with not coming back alot so they wouldn't be in the spotlight all the time but seeing this Jennie looks hurt and confused.
