Rate the credibility of all K-pop Music Award Shows

So it's that time of year, K-Pop Music Awards season!!

 

We've already seen the shadiness of some of these award shows with the way MAMA picked their nominees for each category.

 

It's obvious that some award shows are more entertaining than others but it's also obvious that some award shows are more fair and credible than others and I'm curious to see how you would rank all the award shows for fairness and credibility.

 

If you had to rank all of the award shows in order of the most credible and fair to the least. What order would you put the following award shows in?

 

MAMA

Melon Music Awards

Seoul Music Awards

Korean Music Awards

Asia Artists Awards

Golden Disk Awards

Gaon Chart Music Awards

Soribada Best K-Music Awards

KMA is the most credible

idk I don't watch all of them but MAMA is trash. its like the teen choice award of kpop.

GDA is objectively the most objective. KMA's categories are a mess and the rest are just glorified music shows.

Gaon is the best since they are basically just sales. KMA is also good since they don't have any influence from fandoms. After both of them come Golden Disk, Seoul and MMA.

I would say that is the most prestigious one, but for idols o think it’s GDA

I like watching Melon cause not only do all the artists perform, they tend to go more all out of the presentation of the performance as well. Also it has less of a formal feel it seems like a fun event for idols too. Most creditable probably not haha...

GDA prestige and legit review and not influence by that need to maintain great business relationship with other ent company,for fan hype for view/publicity since view bring advertisement and more advertisement more money  bullshit reason...so KMA and GDA

KMA is the only award show that awarded soyou some with a daesang in 2014, and last year bb4 won SOTY there so them.

What's the one that is in the spring and gives out awards for acting too? I think it starts with a b? That's the most legit to me. Gilet hard for idols to win there, as they look at kmusic as a whole while these others just look at idol groups and occassionally selected, younger, soloist.

GDA, they give awards to almost everybody so people are satisfied.

 

MAMA and MMA can be dubious. It's expected with MAMA and disappointing when MMA does it.

 

I do like MAMA's stages.

I haven't really watched majority of these, but I will say that GDA has a more past performances that I love to watch

MAMA is the less reliable I wish Kpop fans stopped seeing MAMA as some sort of "Asian / Korean grammys" when they're more like a kids choice awards or teen choice awards as someone said before
