April was one of my fave groups with hyunjoo as my first bias and I used to follow them daily until she left due to health issue which was never well explained... At first it was rumored to be a breathing issue but later,there were rumors about her going through hyperventilation.... Either way I never got how dancing to a slow and soft gg choreography on stage would be harmful for her and exercise like that is actually needed for sick ppl even. And her withdrawal was really...happening in a weird (?) way... She was supposed to be sick and on hiatus but she used to go to school and take pictures with her friends last year. And now it hasn't been long and she is on The Unit dancing to choreographies which can be harmful for her (She was going to continue as an actress because being an idol would be stressful and blah blah blah)? I am very upset @ the situation. I always felt like she isn't very close to the members tbh. Could it be that? I still love April and check the songs but...I am just confused... I do remember news about someone from april going into acting. isn't this her? it makes no sense for her to go on an idol audition program. something is definitely odd here. I don't think it was bc of the members. Anyway it's not uncommon for dsp girls to say they are leaving a gg to go do something else then end up right back in another group with dsp. Even if the routines look easy, being an idol is not easy. They have to repeat the same choreography dozen times a day, along with other scheduled jobs and practices. Not to mention the stress they're under. Even someone with perfect health found it difficult to keep up with being an idol. 2. As someone with bad health condition (weaker lungs and spinal problems), I ALMOST took an offense at this sentence of yours. Someone also judged me for going out when they found out I had those conditions. Being home all the time actually makes me stressed. It's good to be out and enjoy life when it's done properly. Being sick doesn't automatically mean someone should be at home 100%. Yes, they have to take some rest for their own good, but doesn't mean we, "supposed to be sick people", can't go to school, or go with friends, or take pictures while hanging out with friends. Maybe she really was sick which forced her to withdraw from April, but that didn't stop her from still wanting to be an idol, so now that she's in a better condition she's trying for it once again. I think she wants to be an actress in the 1st place and use recognition as a girlgroup member as stepping stone. Thinks that April isn't making it big so decided to just be an actress. However, being an actress isn't easy to get roles as well. So she decided to try gaining recognition from The Uni+ hoping that it will give her more chance to get roles. There are actors who joined survival show to gain recognition so why can't she do it. Somin got to leave April too and now she's in KARD. Maybe she didn't like their concept and decided to leave, like Somin. Honestly who knows, the whole situation is strange. I wish her luck though. I feel like DSP was the 1 that pull Somin out of April to put her in KARD. They wanted to make KARD and they probably felt like she suits KARD way better than April.
