They all have popularities in different demographics outside and inside the fandom. Chanyeol is the king of instagram, many new non exol kpop fans know baekhyun, sehun is the most popular non chinese member in china, lay of course owns china, xiumin is well loved by the k fandom, suho tops all visual rankings and everyone knows him as exos leader, kai has pretty much always been the center of exo, kyungsoo has fans even in the k drama/k movie fandoms, chen is the vocalist of the generation and is well known for his OSTs and honestly everyone loves chen...even all the trolls. It's way better than before tho (around 2013-2014, a lot of fans thought he was boring, bland, embarrassing and lacked talents). ~Aeris~ 2,686 Posted October 19, 2017 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Hmmmm... we can never answer that... thats always been asked and we always answer differently I guess if top overall - baek, chanyeol, kai and sehun... but its really hard since Kyungsoo always win polls and hes known as being Kyungsoo as the actor, Xuimin always trend just by breathing, Suho has oublic recognition since hes the exo leader and even adults know him since hes always the one talking.. Chen is also well known in korea since hes known for his talent and Yixing.. well yixing is on a different scale in China... Its hard to answer this.. lusehun 30 Posted November 4, 2017 Share Posted November 4, 2017 imo... fandom wise - sehun, chanyeol and baekhyun are the popular trio. they're basically top - mid tier in every country, just shuffled around a bit. junmyeon is very likely the least. public rec though? i'd guess kyungsoo (bc of acting) or minseok (trends on naver for no reason etc) for korea. outside of kpop/kdrama fans, yixing is really the only one known in china. I see a lot of mentions about Lay but that is mostly in reference to him being in China so I don't know if that counts. I don't know who would be considered least popular.
