As can be seen,the number of group that Mama usually nominates for Best female group is 5.2015 was the only year when 6 groups were nominated.

 

Also the awards show can be very unpredictable.

 

Which groups do you think will be nominated? My prediction is Twice,Mamamoo,Blackpink, Red velvet will definitely get a nomination the #5 position I think will be Snsd but can be anyone Tbh.

The winner will most likely be Twice but RV is also a strong contender.

If twice wins this year,they'll be the 2nd group after SES to win two years in a row.

This category was won by Davichi last year.

It's been almost a decade and I am still bitter SNSD didn't win 2009 and 2010 cause of the Mnet SM fued haha. This year I think it's between Twice and Red Velvet. I would be really happy for both, but since MAMA rarely gives the award out to the same artist twice in a row, I think they might give it to RV this year.
