Anticipating a hip hop/punk-ish jam. I like how despite FTI+CNB+NF all being bands under the same company they have very distinct sonorities and image.

I'm not crazy about "One and Only" but I'm glad they're including "Reason". I always love Kim Jae Yang's compositions.

Now Awesome makes me think of CNB circa 11-12.

I am hoping the feeling goes away when the whole song gets released.

Even so it is a great song for sure.

The Good thing is that CNB hasn't sounded like this for years now.

 

 

 

 

I agree, 'Awesome' does give a similar vibe as CNB's first title tracks like 'Loner' and 'Intuition'. CNBLUE willfully cast a bit of that more urban/funky/grundge sound aside even though that seemed to be the colour FNC had in mind for them long-term. So I guess they are now making use of it for NFlying, which I think fits them well.

I loved it! The song is indeed "Awesome"   . The hook/chorus is really addictive and I think it's quite innovative how the whole song, especially the verses, are delivered in style that is somehow half-rapped half sung.

 

And I like that they come across as having a lot of charisma in the video, plus that they're having a lot of fun.

I know they won't do amazing because people would compare them to CN Blue of FT Island even if they were only banging 2 coconuts together and singing somewhere over the rainbow in Swedish.

 

 

I agree, I don't think the song sounds like something CNBLUE would release. Plus all NFlying's previous releases are clearly in a different style than anything CNBLUE's done (much more hip-hop/punk/urban).

 

I do think that the type of attitude/charisma they're delivering in this MV is reminiscent of the "I'm Loner" and "Intuition" MVs, but that's a good thing!

Nice! 'Heartbreak' has always been great. '1 minute' is a nice ballad =). I like 'All In' as well but I feel they auto-tuned Seunghyub's voice a tad too much.

Probably because they didn't give him a line for the conversation today. I guess it's harder to appear to be into the conversation when you know you're not going to chip in.

 

I'm impressed in general how comfortable they are in these interviews, they really have presence and charisma.

I had never thought of Chahun as my bias but there's just something adorable when he smiles this openly! I think it's because he usually has a poker face so it takes me off guard when he smiles this brightly.

 

I thought it was very suiting how his fellow members and himself described him as a cat. He does indeed resemble one! Independent and reserved, but sometimes amazingly cute!
