BTS aren't sure if they're even going to the US next year UPDATE: They're coming soon

Omfg they're really playing it too safe. When will they realize that they're literally the only kpop act that could possibly be mainstream?

Not even this, but radio stations have been questioning why can't BTS give interviews or giving them shoutouts. The spins they've been giving would diminish if Big Hit doesn't respond effectively. Even a little appreciation trip would be great, but maybe it's just BTS levelling their expectations given they filmed this video early into the DNA promos.

But still, if they don't maximize the current momentum, I'm quite unsure if that's a wise move.

well, it makes sense that they might not be back because most korean artists don't do a world tour every year. unless they're invited to another award show, they probably just don't have any plans to come to america before their next world tour whenever it may be. be realistic people.

After their simultaneous Hot 100 and Top 200 charting, they should go to the US again. It's what US ARMYs deserve. ohdearplz.png

I'm hoping they're just joking though.

Thing is, I feel like BigHit's relying too much on the fandom to keep them charting in the US. If you want to stay longer on the Hot 100 and if you want to reach a wider audience and get more airplay, you're going to have to promote. ARMYs alone can't carry BTS long term. This is why I'm really hoping they'd consider promoting BoM. Seriously, who'd collab with one of the most mainstream artists in America and then not do anything to make the track more well-known?
