redheart 7,440 Posted October 13, 2017 Share Posted October 13, 2017 If anyone told me 6 years ago when my sister showed me MiroticΒ that Kpop would reach this level I would have laugh at their face and call it a day Β Β I mean do you realise that we are getting hundreds of millions of views on MV not counting Gangnam Style just because... you know Like sometimes I look at the views and I have to take a moment to let that sink in Β Β Β it get me shook everytime Β We get articles on Billboard, the New york Times etc we even chart on Billboard (BTS in Hot 100) like now when I say I like to kpop people don't look at me like I'm a weird Alien anymore Β Β I know some think that it'll die out, and I disagreeΒ but even if it does we should all be happy becauseΒ we came so fucking far Β I know this new generation is constantly thinking about getting xx views in the first 24h or who broke the record of who Β Β and y'all call other groups flops because they don't chart here or they didn't get these numbers there Β but for fuck sakes when I started staning kpop groups, most kpop fans around me didn't even know what Melon was, or how many views their favs had on their latest mv Β Most of the time some kpop fans can be petty, arrogant and boastful but I'll give you this, y'all work very hard, props to you Β Β Even if it's not your faves on top, this is having a positive impact on the niche that is kpop imo and we should all appreciate that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
