ikr. I think they're pancake soufflé's. I've been wanting to try them at least once lol. rlytearpls.png

I tried following these types of recipes. Mine always turns out tragic. Still tasty, but never smooth and beautiful like this... rlytearpls.png

:o you've tried it? I attempted an angel food cake once, and it burnt so bad it was permenately seared into the cake pan didnt whip properly. I've banned myself from baking anything that requires a meringue. LOL.

I tried doing the Japanese cheese cake with pancake mix. First of all, I'm horrified now because it never registered to me that a cheese cake calls for a WHOLE block of cream cheese until I started to make it. AND OMG, I only have a Vitamix and I used it to make meringue and it DID NOT work. I think it might be because I didn't separate out the yolk properly, and there were traces of yolk in it. Anyway, I mixed it in with the rest of the cake mix, and it came out deflated rather than fluffy like the pics warstarplz.png Still tasted good, but not Instagram-worthy lol

Omg that Japanese Cheesecake and Macarons are the two recipes that I've seen amateur bakers curse the most at. They make for good fail videos though lol. :p see Threadbangers Corrine. RIP.

How is the Vitamix? It's been on my Wish list for like the last two years, but I haven't purchased it yet.

BEST THING EVER. I use it to make almost everything. I juice, make soup, make sauce etc. The soups are amazing. You just follow a recipe, dump all the ingredients, then the speed of the blades will heat up the mixture for you into a delicious bowl of soup. Great for food prepping. I just make a couple batches over the weekend, then I got lunch fixed for the next few days <3 Great investment for sure. I would buy it from Costco. They always have the cheapest deal. Maybe look for one during Black Friday? :)
