MBC Drama "TWO COPS" Jo Jung Suk & Hyeri. *~The END~*

I knew it was going to be fun watching Jo Jung-seok (Jealousy Incarnate) play two characters, and the third teaser for his new drama Two Cops finally shows us a tidbit of his two-in-one role. The MBC body-swap fantasy is about a righteous detective who gets possessed by the soul of a con artist who wreaks havoc on his life. Kim Sun-ho (Strongest Deliveryman) costars as the smooth-talking swindler, and Hyeri (Entertainer) plays the prickly broadcast news reporter who has a loveline with them.

The latest teaser takes place in an interrogation room, with Jo Jung-seok as violent crimes detective Cha Dong-tak, questioning Kim Sun-ho as con artist and repeat offender Gong Su-chang. All the detective does is ask his name to begin the interrogation, but Gong Su-chang just keeps singing lines from songs to annoy him: “I don’t know, I can’t possibly know~†and â€œIt’s me, it’s me, it’s me, it’s me~!†Detective Dong-tak just says one word over and over the whole time: “Name. Name! NAAAAME!â€

But then the screen blips and Jo Jung-seok suddenly looks laid-back and smirky as he answers his own question, â€œMe? I’m Gong Su-chang.†The real Gong Su-chang’s face gets overlaid on his (the composite of their two faces creeps me out) as he chuckles to the camera. The copy reads: “One body, two souls, a cooperative investigation.â€

If by “cooperate†you mean hijack a body and force it to share, sure. The character descriptions do call the con artist someone you can’t hate despite his misdeeds, though, so I think we’re in for lighthearted body-swap antics from a wayward punk who’s about to get our cop into a bit of mischief.

[News] What does a day in the life of liar GongSuChang look like?

The released still cuts tell the story of the daily life of swindler GongSuChang (KimSeonHo) in the drama "TwoCopsâ€, MBC’s new drama that will air this winter season; a drama that will bring much warmth and happiness to the audience in the upcoming weeks every Monday and Tuesday.

The character GongSuChang in the drama is one born with eloquence, an agile mind, and an appearance that makes you smile biggrin.png me: meaning he is a funny guy) - such is the charm he has that will captivate your heart.

In the still cuts, you see his delightful expression after defrauding someone in his typical “SuChang’s†style. It looks like he’s got his prey perfectly in hand and we are curious and excited to see how he goes about his lying business. Like his “victimsâ€, you will also be hopelessly taken by his charms and you will find it difficult to hate him.

Looking at the wallet, he reveals his shamelessness as a liar. The next moment, we see an innocent face and we forget that in reality, he’s a liar.

In this way, GongSuChang will be presented to us and we will see his courage and his warm hearted nature beneath the liar facade. We will come to appreciate his gift of eloquence and his passionate smile will drive us crazy.

In order to show the charm of GongSuChang, KimSeonHo has painstakingly put in great efforts to realistically bring this character to life and to shape him in the best possible way.

Not only that, both KimSeonHo and JoJungSuk are working in tandem to present this character GongSuChang as his spirit is in the form of two physical persons - ChaDongTak and GongSuChang, making GongSuChang a central and important character in the drama.

Meanwhile, TwoCops is a fantasy drama about the romance between ChaDongTak, a violent crimes police detective and SongJiAn, a social affairs correspondent reporter which will premiere on Monday, November 27, 10pm kst.

Hyeri Suffers After A Brawl In New “Two Cops†Stills

Hyeri-Featured.jpg

New stills of Hyeri in MBC’s “Two Cops†have been released!

Hyeri, who is portraying a tough reporter Son Ji Ahn, is seen showcasing some intense street action.

Song Ji Ahn is constantly chasing after exclusives, and is often faced with dangerous situations since she has to be physically present at scenes of crimes and accidents. She is on the floor after being tackled down by a mystery woman. Many are sympathetic for to Ji Ahn’s suffering and are also curious as to why she is seen like this in broad daylight.

Additionally, Ji Ahn is seen with ruffled hair, evidently after an intense fight. Hyeri apparently showed great consideration for the actress she worked with in the scene, by telling her it’s okay not to go easy on her during filming.

Check out “Two Cops,†also starring Jo Jung Suk, on November 27 at 10 p.m. KST after the conclusion of “20th Century Boy and Girl“!

Jo Jung-seok and Hyeri bicker their way to love in Two Cops

A new teaser and a photo shoot have been released for MBC’s Two Cops, which finally teases a bit of the romance to come in the new body-swap fantasy drama. Jo Jung-seok (Jealousy Incarnate) stars as a righteous cop who gets possessed by the soul of a con man, and Hyeri (Entertainer) plays a prickly reporter he makes enemies with… which of course only means that they’ll bicker and fight until they fall in love.

The two actors posed for a spread in Bazaar, and the drama’s latest teaser finally shows them together onscreen.

Jo Jung-seok plays a violent crimes detective who becomes obsessed with a case, during which he crosses paths with a con artist, played by Kim Sun-ho (Strongest Deliveryman), who will later come to “share†his body by possessing him. But then the serious tone of the teaser shifts when he bumps into Hyeri’s broadcast reporter character.

As he swings her smoothly out of the way of an oncoming motorcycle, she says in voiceover, “You’re not a detective—you’re a gangster!†He spits back that words don’t get through to her, and then we see her wrap her leg around him as they sleep. He catches her going undercover as a janitor and growls at her to stay out of his sight from now on. Naturally that’s the last thing she’s going to do.

This kind of gruff role is pretty familiar for Jo Jung-seok, but since he’s at the top of his class when it comes to bickering but lovable drama heroes, the hate-to-love setup might make it easier to buy into this romance. Plus, there’s all that comedy waiting to happen once he’s possessed by a con man and suddenly acting out of character. That’s what we’re really here for, right?

MBC’s Two Cops premieres in less than a week, on November 27.
