I think CL can make it in the US but...

I believed in her for a long time but the woman has not done anything to advance in the US market. She had an opportunity when she was started to be name dropped at around the time Hello Bitches came out, that would have been the perfect timing to get something going. But nothing did and she ended up coming back with a mediocre buzz single, Lifted, which barely did anything to help succeed in the American market.

She has a good manager and a good company backing her up, I just don't understand WTF they are doing wasting their time.

I used to highly doubt the success of CL’s US-campaign, but after I witnessed the likes of Halsey gain a large following, I’ve come to realize that anything is possible.

Well, with the tragic songs she released it's probably for the best

The fact that BTS won a BB award and getting all the radio station exposures right now and western artist's doing collabs with them despite not having a US debut nor having the plan to do so is quite amazing. She had all the connections and didn't utilize it well.

The problem is she hasn't really done anything in the US. Ya'll are quick to call her a flop but she hasn't done anything so nothing has flopped. Lifted got released with the usual 'Who's Next' poster shit by YG which came across like a Korean release then she performed once on TV and did nothing after, so yeah Lifted didn't do much but nothing was really done to promote it.

She needs to release stuff and start promoting over there, let her do that and then call her a flop if her music doesn't do well.
