taeyeoni 670 Posted October 10, 2017 Share Posted October 10, 2017 Hello, I see a lot of celebrities who despite their initial lack of success never gave up like groups such as nu'est, Exid etc.. and people praise them for being brave and not giving up despite waiting for years before rising to the top.. then i see people like produce 101's chanmi, zico's brother who after multiple attempts still have not achieved success and i see people saying that they should know when to give up...nothing wrong with saying that though, it is a valid argument and obviously coming from a genuine place. However, im confused, how would you decide in real life when its time to give up or when do you know its best to keep going?? obviously as an adult you cant just wait for the world to tell you its ok to go on to go on, but as an adult you also can't ignore the signs the world gives you... If being a successful K-Pop idol is someone's #1 dream in life, I doubt they'll ever truly give up, and even if they do temporarily, they'll most likely always take another stab at it if they are given the chance. I've never been in that situation, sadly I've always just gone with the flow of my life and while I have been passionate about things, I've never been so focused on achieving a goal. I kind of envy them, even if they never make it. but I've seen a lot of people who were past the point of "giving up" still trying for it and it just becomes sad to see. You're related to a total digimon why don't you jut release a single with him or feature on his album to get some momentum going and then try to go from theere? Also, ya'll should watch the drama AOY2, there's a really sad plot about a guy who spends 7 years trying to make a flop group work and it gives a really sad but eye opening perspective that kind of answers why it's not so simple to just throw in the towel.. That's been his "plot" in SMTM, they never failed to mention it in article, they'll probably bring it up in The Unit as a part of his sob story...
