I've taken time for the news to sink in...

And now I can't wait for Tiffany's next solo album. I can't wait for her to break into another part of the entertainment industry, and I can't wait to watch Sooyoung do the same. I can't wait to see Seohyun on stage more often, or to hear more of her own musical pursuits, especially after her work on Holiday Night.

I can't wait to see what the remaining members do, whether they release more albums or not. I can't wait to see if any of the newly liberated members reach out to Jessica, and I can't wait to see them all continue to achieve success after success.

I can't wait to see them all happy. I can't wait to see them away from SM.

Girls' Generation, in any form you take, nine, eight, even five, in Korean or Japanese, you made my adolescent years. You were my first stepping stone on the path of self-confidence, and I wouldn't be the person I am now without you (and the person I am, is someone I rather like).

To each of the nine members of Girls' Generation, wherever life takes you next, thank you.

Sincerely, and with all my heart, a SONE.

I got into Kpop way later than most (early 20s) because of SNSD and has been a solid supporter of the group and its members.

It's heartbreaking to say the least but I can't deny that it's about time for them to pursue what they want...whether as part of SM or not.

Call me shallow but these girls played quite a role in keeping me sane during the difficult times of my early adulthood. As someone who's the same age as them, I know exactly how it feels to desperately want to take a turning point in the same kind of life you've lived for years.

It's about time, my girls. The time for chasing dreams is now over, it's about time to catch them. You'll always be the SNSD that everyone will remember. Thank you for the 10 years.
