i think i try too hard to relate / comnect with them

and i laugh at everything they say.. awkwardly cuz idk wtf to respond to them. either that or i just come off too cold and underenthusiastic

Or people who just tmi from the getgo?? what do i do when they tell me about how their father left their mother

Same. In middle school had a fire who was into homestuck and volcaloid and god was it difficult going along with that stuff. Was clingy too.

so if its just u and them and they start talking, would u shut them down?

you can vibe with anyone? absolutely anyone?

I mean yeah if you mean weird as in just peculiar, strange if you mean like psycho needs serious help then no....

wait isnt that a little mean tho?

I would talk to them then, I guess. But if our interests really don’t match, I would say “Got to go. Talk to you later†or something, and walk away

LMAO! usually in that case the person keeps talking on and on

Generally they just want someone to listen, so you should just listen and then they finish and you're like

i talk to them like a normal person? idk.  it's never a good feeling when u spill ur guts to someone and they just give u a "oh that's nice" or whatever, so i try to be mindful and be an active participant in the convo.  sometimes ppl just want someone to talk to and i don't see why i can't be a good listener even if what theyre talking about is "weird" or w/e
