[POLL] Do you like K-indie Music?

I've been quite obsessed with this music genre recently and came across a series of wonderful songs.  Apparently they are quite popular.

I've also been listening to classic bands such as "Exhibtion" (one of their songs was used in Architecture 101).

 

This one is called "Drunken Truth" (Not from the movie)

 

 

 

Take your time to listen to all of these songs if you can.  They are really good in my opinion.

Yesss. K-Indie is better than K-Pop imo. I listen to it way more than I listen to idol groups. Very calming tbh.

Not really. There are certain acts I like like Neon Bunny, Glen Check, and The Koxx but indie music isn't Korea's forte. A lot of it is too mellow, there's a lack a variety, and it's generic. It's very much background music. I prefer Western and Japanese indie.

No tbh. Maybe I haven't been digging hard enough but nothing has really blown me away. A lot of the stuff I do hear when going out of my way to discover new artists sounds kind of basic to me, or stuff that I had on my iPod several years ago from both Japanese and Western artists.

Some of it is a bit too bland but I enjoy a fair bit of it. Good choice of songs for the OP, by the way. Especially didn't know anyone would know the last song!

After listening some of the song from k-Indie, i feel the visual tones was delivery perfectly with soft touched voices and also make us constantly listen to their music more.
