Blade Runner 2049 has been getting excellent reviews, so are you excited for it ?

Many are even calling it equally good as the first one which is amazing considering Blade Runner is one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time. (although 2049 is definitely not meant for those who did not like the first one)

I honestly wasn't pessimistic about this sequel since Denis Villeneuve's directing it. And Ryan Gosling is quite good in grim and noir roles

I don't have any thoughts on it yet but based on the trailer it does look promising. I loved the og so it's kinda mandatory to see how this one fares

It’s 90% in Rotten Tomatoes, which means 90% of all reviewers liked it, and 89/100 in MetaCritic which basically what grade average would they put one the movie. And for how much the average person liked, there is IMDb, because reviewers and people often think differently, though both RT and MC have their own section of people vs reviewers grades.

I like to get a brief idea about what am i getting when i watch a movie plus i trust guys like Chris & Jeremy to give an objective review

 

For eg : even though Jeremy praised BR 2049 but at the same time also cautiioned that some may not like if they did not like the first one coz it also has a very slow pace and is also longer than the first.

I'm excited for ANY film directed by Denis Villeneuve. His movies are great.
