I'd rather have songs that I enjoy listening to the ones who win 20 awards and I don't like the sound of. Plus constantly changing concepts will surely alienate the fanbase (obviously apart from the ones who prefer their cute concept)? T-ara has a lot of fans and would still be winning shows if not for the scandal. I think they make money -- it's not clear to me that Dal Shabet makes money. Yeah I agree I can't see them lasting much longer unless they get that song to catapult them up, they also need a bigger fanbase so their album sales can get the company more money/can have a sized concert or I can't see them continuing. Songs that go out of their way to be cute aren't popular these days, so they're probably better off sticking with more sexy / sophisticated type of songs.
