starsocks 7,986
When I was in primary school, the teacher in the classroom next door hated me. One time I was sent by my teacher to go to her classroom to borrow something. I knocked on the door and quietly came in. She was reading a book to her class and I said "Excuse me, I'm sorry for interrupting-" and she interjected, "well if you were sorry, you wouldn't have interrupted in the first place!" Then she kicked me out and I never got to borrow what I needed. In grade four we had a program where we would rotate around to other classrooms and be taught by different teachers. The teacher there remarked about me in front of my entire class of twenty six students, "no wonder you don't have any friends; you can't even use a protractor!" Guest
Well we had a pedophile as a teacher in elementary school. He used to touch the girls (luckily not me tho, but sadly my cousin). They all grouped together and called the police on him. He got fired and his wife divorced him.

shocking blue 7,514
In my final year of high school we had quite a few biology teachers in the one year, which was frustrating because we needed to learn all this material to pass our final exams. One of the teachers was pretty much fresh out of uni it seemed. And he didn't know anything. We would ask a simple question such as "is the mitochondria or the nucleus the power house of the cell?" and he'd say "right, hold on...can I borrow one of your textbooks?" AND LITERALLY FLICK THROUGH OUR TEXTBOOK LOOKING FOR THE ANSWER x_x I also had an art teacher who was notorious for having two moods she would swing between: sickly sweet and mean for no reason. One day she would say "hey kids, remember this! There is no right or wrong in art!" then the next day: "THIS IS WRONG, IT'S ALL WRONG, YOU AIRHEADS" (she called us that on several occasions) And we would overhear her actually saying to other teachers things like "my Year 9 class are idiots"
gfriendlover 281
I remember once when I was 5 or something I had 2 braids on one got loose, I didn't know how to braid it back so I let the other loose and my hair was curly/crazy a bit. So this random young substitute was pointing at me & whispering to another teacher saying that I look like a crazy mental person. like ik I'm 5 but I can still hear you
Habitual Irony 913
One of the teachers for my co-curricular activity asked to borrow a pen so I, being a nice kid (was 9 then), grabbed my pink pen with a smiley thumbs up figure at the top and eagerly passed it to her. Then she commented, 'what a childish pen'. I was hurt because my mum bought it as a reward for my good grades the previous year. Glad she left the school one/two years later >.> There was a female teacher I had in primary school who grabbed the pinafore belts or the collars (edit: and hair) of the girls, and dragged them across the classroom when they did not do their homework... lucky I was diligent enough so I never got punished by her. But it still sucked because she wasted a lot of time when she could have taught us stuff (and also seeing my friends being hurt by her)
honeypie 274
I had a teacher who thought he taught us this concept, but he didn't and would not believe my class - he thought we were all lying so he wasted the entire lesson by sending us to the library to research about it. We had another lecture in the evening (with other classes) and he decided it would be a good idea to spent 30 minutes of it shaming my entire class in front of them, before proceeding to make us talk, one by one, about why we deserved a spot in the lecture room. He decided 75% of my class weren't deserving of the spot anyway so he chased those out lmao.
Aneira3019 1,017
It wasn't really the dudes fault but it was bad. My class was somehow an advanced maths class and none of us knew why cause we weren't really that good but whatever. Anyway our original teacher disappeared, I still don't know what happened to him, we were left without any teacher at all for 3 days before anyone noticed cause we weren't complaining. After that we got a teacher but he wasn't a maths teacher, he was an already retired geography teacher, we had him for about 3/4 months before an actual maths teacher took over. By that time we were so behind on the course that they knocked us down two levels.
Lil Ayy Big Gay 8,172
One time when I was in 3rd grade we had a sub that was utter batshit. She literally slapped us in the face, I got slapped and so did like 5 other kids, she dragged another kid by the arm across the room. During lunch recess, our whole class marched our asses to the front office and told the office staff and she fired right then and there, our principal was our teacher for the rest of the week. Also, another one of my teachers during culture week kept on interupting during my presentation because he wanted to tell everyone that the hate the Irish used to get came from us being drunks and it was all our fault, lol. +My school counselor. My father used to beat us and one day I told her about it, I will NEVER forget what the cunt said to me, "You just have to tell yourself, that is just how he is"
Joon 8,222
My 8th grade science teacher. He was a hardcore atheist and mocked religion in our class. I am an atheist too, but I don’t think an 8th grade teacher should ever be mocking the beliefs of students. Also I was zoning out once in class and he smacked me in the head with a bunch papers. And when 9/11 happened we were in his class, he received a phone call (I remember feeling strange when the phone rang.) He just said “mmmhmm†a few times, then turned the TV on to a news station and muted it. Then he just stood there watching with his arms crossed, and when we asked what was going on he told us to just go back and chart our hurricanes -.- Funnily enough his wife was my 2nd grade teacher and was my favorite teacher ever! Kstarnet 1,502
When I was working on my thesis during the final college year, I was assigned to a supervisor, which is a new lecturer with another student (I'm going to call her A). So we were working on a thesis, I was average and A was excellent. He told me to take A's thesis for reference. I agree and borrow hers but I never plagiarize anything at all. Everything was going well until the few weeks before submission. Before the formal submission, we brought our thesis for him to take a final look. For that session, he suddenly tell us that the format that we're doing is wrong. Both of us got shocked, especially A since she always let him checked her thesis and he was ok with it. After that session, A was pissed off and rant to one of our lecturers (who was our programme supervisor) about him. She rant that she even refer 3 published thesis to do hers. Which means that we have to change the format again. I have to say i was pissed off as well and channel my anger to doing the thesis while listening to various kpop albums
GyuGyuGyu 291
there was a teacher in my primary school, she was quite well-known for being strict and fierce to all students, one time i was sitting and joking with my friends during breaktime and saw her walking down the stairs (at our direction) and i froze because i was afraid of her, then she came to me asking if i've been making fun of her. you dont even know me or taught any of my class lady... omejkle 11,748
I had a business law professor that would word for word HANDWRITE the summary at the end of the chapter in our book and put it on a projector and just read it to the class. This was for EVERY class. He never once taught anything. It was an easy A but he was a horrible teacher.
Bluebells and Snowdrops 3,566
I have had 2 bad teachers in my time. The first was my 8th grade German (substitute) teacher. She yelled at my class so much that other teachers reported her and the school actually had to have someone observe a few lessons, to make sure that she didn't cross the line (hit someone). The second teacher was my math teacher last year. She said, directly to my face, that I had to improve, or she wouldn't waste her time trying to teach me anything. Math is my worst subject, and tbh, I was actually trying my best.
wild 856
Most of the teachers I've had weren't personally terrible, just really bad at teaching and explaining. I went to a religiously affiliated school and only one of eight of the religion teachers I had in my eight semesters was able to actually properly defend the beliefs they were teaching. sungjins 676
My personal worst teacher was a man who lived on a boat, and he would always come late to class because we'd have a class in our town and he was in a whole other city across the country having 'difficulties' with his boat. sometimes (we would have him for the whole morning), he would arrive 4 hours later and expected us to wait there for him. It was ridiculous, and he got fired like 5 months later. One teacher (I didn't have her although it might technically count because she taught my friend) she acted so lovely and kind, she was a married woman too. But she got arrested for having sex with underaged boys (her students). No one would have expected it because she used to seem so helpful and genuine from what I observed. atulvells 2,265
Wow, worst teachers I've ever had, hmmm my school seems to be full of horrible teachers. My Year 4 teacher in New Zealand was a witch, she used to use every opportunity to scream in my face. One time my hand was aching because I got hit with a racket at recess and we had to clean up our class, while people were packing things up I was like suffering, she came and cornered me and yelled at me and called me lazy and she didn't even give me a chance to explain myself like bih wtf? She also taught my sister 2 years before as well lol. My maths teacher in Year 7 was a crack head (not literally) he used to have go's at me whenever he could. He automatically labelled me as dumb and always made sure to publicly humiliate me in front of all my friends if I didn't do my homework which was not that common. When I did do my homework, he would always accuse me of copying the answers. What really pissed me off was the fact that he wouldn't even check the girls books as he just automatically assumed that they did all the work because they're girls. My humanities teacher in year 8 really defined the word idiotic. He was a racist, old white man. He was extremely boring and genuinely enjoyed pissing me off. He would call me names and justified himself by saying that he felt like it. We had a muslim student and he would call him muslim names that weren't his own names. He would send people outside in the rain when he got annoyed. We were also not allowed to stand up during class and dispose our rubbish. It was against the rules to send students out and when I told him that he threatened to send me to the principal.

cherrimotion 822
I had this PE teacher during the first year of high school who told me I wasn't normal and that I needed professional help since I had and still have an anxiety disorder. OrionVonKeyne 183
One Chemistry teacher from high school. The guy hated everybody in my class for no reason and didn't want to teach. He was very abusive especially towards the girls. Thankfully, he got fired in about 6 months and nobody else had to suffer thanks to him.
