It's like the Korean shows but it is China's first. Imagine if a Chinese artist came and won one Korea's music shows. Now imagine that it was the first ever music show.

Oh, ok thanks. Though I'm guessing this music show is a bigger deal in China (as in it probably has high ratings?) than the music shows in Korea are because Korean music shows hardly get much of an audience to make this much fuss.

That's more with Kpop fans though. Non-kpop fans and general public wouldn't have a clue. It certainly wouldn't make it on the news or anything. Anyways, good for them.
