She used to sub for Johnny's Entertainment vids, mainly NEWS and KAT-TUN in the 2000s. She was a one person team but got all the subs out in hardsub form and HQ in a few hours after broadcast. It's been like 10 years but I haven't seen any subbers as amazing at her tbh in all my fandoms. Aside from Arashi, I feel she's a major reason why NEWS & KAT-TUN had bigger fandoms than any K-Pop groups pre-2006. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Her subs also had concise explanations with wordplay and puns, and all of her stuff were in hardsub HQ too - by the time Happy Birthday NEWS era came, my Japanese really improved thanks to her. What amazes me is she does it all alone, but does it with unbelievably high quality and speed. It took a while for me to adjust once she was gone, and I've realized I completely lost interest the moment she retired from subbing and Ryopi leaving didn't help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She's a good subber but has the tendency of pissing off some parts of other J&A fandoms who were not NEWS or KAT-TUN fans, which of course then led to the other non-NEWS/KT fans setting up their own fansub groups with great success (because really, why were you subbing something that's not of your interest?) I was thinking about her the other day since there's an NCT subber shbup who reminds me of her since they're both prolific, fast, and work alone. Yeah I remember her.
