Do you think American Celebrities don't care about their fans?

There is a different culture.

In Western countries like USA or Europe, the celebrities think that they dont have to do special things for fans. Western Countries dont have extreme fanservice. For example, if fans ask a group to do crossdressing as girls.... the group will say "no. we are musicians. you can watch us make music and thats. it. we dont create a special personal relationship with you." Fans are more like... customers.

In Asia, especially KPOP, there is a culture of giving almost any fanservice to the fans. Which is why KPOP is so successful worldwide. The only thing in USA or western countries that comes close to good fanservice is what Youtubers do. Some of them also create a special personal relationship with their fans. Imo, its one of the reasons why Youtubers are successful. It feels more personal than other westerner celebrities.

Taylor Swift  is one of the exceptions, she does care about her fans. Invites them to her house and have secret listening parties to her new album (1989), personally bakes cookies for them lol, surprises them at weddings, visits on hospitals, shows up at their doorsteps and personally delivers christmas gifts, sends personalized gifts to her fans after she stalks them on tumblr and learns what they like etc She even hosted a couple of Meet & Greets, free of charge and that lasted several hours...

I think it's the reason she has such a supportive hardcore fandom that can put her at the top of the charts and albums sales, even when the "general public" seems not to like her.

There is a sense of realness with some American celebs, they won't fake it, I'm sure some are really thankful, but it's hard to please fans all the time and of course they fear stalkers and those developing obsessions

K-stars have a bigger responsibility to maintain an 'acceptable' behavior with fans since criticism and possibility of being replaced or removed from current position is very high in case of scandals. K-public remembers all past mistakes for their stars and don't move on.

Exactly. K-stars are meant to be products and idols first. They must have a perfect and innocent persona at all times.

In my opinion, not in the same way Kpop artists do, that's why Kpop is so popular especially internationally, due to the fan culture. I agree that they have to maintain an image to a certain extent, but that is to protect themselves and not damage their careers. There have been so many cases in the US, where artists have done whatever they wanted, and it has ruined them. Its just different expectations. Also people are forgetting that to actually become an idol, is different from how people usually become artists in the US. Idols have to go through auditions, and then go through rigorous training in singing, dancing etc, just to even get the chance to debut, therefore I would be very surprised (if the popular ones at least) were not grateful to their fans.
