Any tips on how to get better at drawing?

Did you draw your display picture?

Anyway most of it comes down to practice and I guess you could sign up for some classes if you're interested in a more formal preparation and developing a better technique but even so you just need to keep drawing and being constant.

I draw every day. When I started I often took objects as models. You could start determine what your style is too? That way you can watch tutorials to get better and buy more fit pencils. But really, try to draw as much as you can

I asked this question to a friend in the past. I was told to draw, draw, draw! Also don't compare your work with others. If you get the mentality that your work isn't as good as 'insert person' It can cause problems to your development.

This advice really helped me.

I love drawing when I was a kid and I even follow some tutorials on the internet. Then my brother nonchalantly draw a character and it looks way better than me who has been practicing a lot... I just accept I don't have talent and suck at drawing and kinda give up.

I think you need to have a good direction and follow the right steps when you started learning, I never learn anatomy and don't even know it is very important in drawing. I just follow random tutorials. Now I'm older and really I don't think I can get better.
