I also read the Riho graduated. She was my second fave next to Nana, I can't deal with this yo it's too heartbreaking. All my faves are gone. All that's left is Sayaka. Also I've noticed that Eriko isn't in the kenkyuusei anymore and is now in Team N again. I remember her being 13 and now she's 17. I feel like a proud mom. Rather than showing interest in leaving she'd been showing little interest in the group. It's recent but she really looks like she isnt enjoying herself lately. Plus management (Yoshimoto and AKS both) has been showing her for months she doesnt much have space in the groups anymore, few group opportunities, she's getting older, plus the entire new gen takeover (she's been talking about this a lot) thing. All this time I'm pretty sure that what was holding her back is that she didn't know what she wanted to do post grad. (Or rather the lack of possibilities that'd combine what opportunities she had + what career she wants to go into). I honestly feel like shit went down because its not like her to drop stuff like that. If she says she might not even be around by nmb's single ... that's really weird. I'm honestly very confused because it's true that she's been waving the graduation flag for a while, but I knew that what was holding her back was that she wasn't sure what to do after graduating. And she still doesn't know so its really weird that she'd say she doesn't know if she'll still be around by next single which is very soon so that's why I think something happened behind the scene (and I highly doubt its directly related to the ricchan situation. Her and management always had a rocky relationship. Scandals, her very outspoken nature that doesn't sit back when she feels herself or other members have been wronged... I hope whatever happens - wether she announces graduation today or not - that nothing occured that poisons the well for her sake, for the other member's sake and the sake of us fans. I think she has. Like you said, she's been wanting to graduate for a while but she got things to look forward to/keep her excited, her transfer to BII, her solo single, caring for her nmbabies and helping them up, Must be now, things like that, but eventually they're little things that don't help the bigger picture (or even became disappointments in the case of MBN I personally see it as a disappointment like I was really excited for something new and badass that she wanted, but in the end she didnt have the opportunity to really showcase that image of her, which she explicitly expressed wanting to do. So she may or may have not felt the same way?) . It's like the increasing handshake slot gimmick quick fix compared to really fixing akb problems (although in this case it's somewhat understandable business wise). Her career is not picking up and not only it's looking like it will not improve but will only be getting worse with how management handles her. If things continue like this she'll be a tool for nmb, as a selling established senpai but nothing for her individual career. She's 23 soon, she needs to do something about this or she'll become a supporting character rather than a lead, and she's aiming for lead! I think she's done with it tbh. She looks bored, frustrated and unenthusiastic most of the time, even in things she used to enjoy most so yeah I'm not very optimistic about this :( I'm quite worried about a rushed graduation, I want her to have a grand graduation :( and even if she doesn't, I want her to have a career afterwards because obviously as a fan i want to keep seeing her in stuff. But tbh I dont even see what she'd do. She's a great dancer but it wont get her as far as she wants to go, she's not into variety, she's fair at acting but she lacks confidence in that and we know it's a tough career choice, it didnt even work out for acchan and yuko. (although its looking good for m.rena! so why not!) She's definitely not becoming a solo singer for obvious reasons. I guess what I can see her best in is a talent/model, with magazines and social networking, cheesy dramas once in a while for now. Or a LARME girl. Which is not bad those girls have quite decent careers. Yoshimoto are good at providing variety post grad careers but otherwise ... ://// Buttttt I may be worrying too much tbh milky is so good at networking i think she can do this if only she has the confidence for it!
