[Ranking] Top 25 Female Idols/Artists with the Most Copyrights

Recommended Posts

Keep in mind that in this case, by 'copyrights' they mean lyrics writing credits.  There can also be co-writers, so these idols are not necessarily the sole lyricist of the songs in which they hold the copyrights.

I'm surprised, Taeyeon is not here despite being the most successful member of an idol group.

well, she's the most successful member of an idol group at selling her products with her package (visual, concepts, singing skills).  writing talent is a nice bonus but it's not a skill a solo artist needs to possess to succeed.

I'm surprised, Taeyeon is not here despite being the most successful member of an idol group.

She said herself that she dont want to became a composer or lyricist right now.. she already got enough unnecessary hate for breathing or smiling... and tbh,, we dont care if she compose or not... her happiness is the priority... moreover,, we know that if she want she can compose... pray is the example....

Proud of my girl Chorong!

I hope you keep on writing more songs, and in the future I hope you can write for other artists as well, and maybe for Apink title track if possible :)

My most favorite Apink songs are actually written by Chorong.

I don't know how much this correlates with the chart above, but it's still pretty funny to think back on how in most v-lives with their respective groups, it's usually Moonbyul and LE that take care of the bill for the whole group lmao.

they're hard-working and generous too eh? ahmagahplz.png

it seems like anyone can compose/ co-write a song nowadays, it's pretty pointless and depends on what image the company is trying to build for you.

lol I'm completely lost on what you're trying to say.  the ability to write songs/lyrics is not a competition; it's a valuable skill to have in the music industry whether only a select few or a ton of people can do it.  it gives you royalties for crying out loud, so how the hell is it pointless??

and what does all of this have anything to do with the image a company might be trying to build for an idol?  if you're saying that companies can make up whatever image they want to push onto their idol and in this case it's writing skills, well that doesn't really apply here bc writing lyrics is a part of a huge chain of production, and an idol can't just spew some random lines and slap their name on the credits and expect the producers to accept whatever they give them.  so it does take a certain level of knowledge and expertise in the field to actually write lyrics for a song.  or else you would see a lot more idol writers out there, bc I'm sure most companies would not turn down the opportunity to media play how multi-talented their artists are.
