Italian real-variety "Pechino (Beijing) Express" went to the Philippines and in yesterday evening episode a pair of contestants met some girls who were dancing to "The Boys". But instead of cutting the music when they switched scene, they kept it as a background for 43 seconds.

From what I know, this is the first time a Kpop song which is not "Gangnam Style" is played on Italian TV.

Relatable. I saw Wonder Girls and GG here on Swedish tv when I was like.. 10? 11? And I made my dad download all of their songs for me lmao

There's been a lot of groups on tv here though. Exo, WG, GG, Boa, BTS and a bunch of other ones I can't remember.

Once on the news in Italy they were talking about how some teens from the pfilippines were beaten up while dancing to kpop, and I heard Boombaya on the background, so it isn't the first time
