How do you cope with school stress?

If i feel too stressed with school work I just remind myself that my health is more important than whatever assignment that I'm working on. I'll just put down whatever I'm working on and read a book, watching a tv show, talk to a friend, etc. After awhile the stress goes away on its own and I can continue on my assignment in peace. The most important thing when it comes to school stress is to just not panic and overreact.

I'm in the same boat. And amongst procrastinating all of you are such sarcastic little bums lol, I honestly find it helps to plan things on a day by day basis. It just makes things easier to tackle, especially when I feel overwhelmed. I tend to stick to a self composed hourly schedule as well, in terms of short term goals, and I try to study effectively (only read through the notes 5 times at most, use the textbook as notes and highlight information instead of wasting time and rewriting it, do practice problems and old exams instead wasting time on theory, use the internet for assignment and lab questions instead of trying to receive an epiphany from notes).

My friend however is the slow and steady sort though. She'll start studying relatively early, and slowly and carefully build up her understanding in all the subjects. Like she'll do chapters 1-3 for all of her subjects on one day, then 3-6 the next. She says that she likes how she's getting a very clear and thorough understanding of everything, and that it gives her a tangible sense of reaching completion. We both get good grades, we both displace our stresses, but just in very different ways.

She's just an organized person who knows what she's doing, and I'm honestly a mess who'll stay up till 4 in the morning on the internet before an exam because I have next to no self control, and so have perfected the art of the all nighter.
