Do you think Apink's upcoming single will be their "Genie"?

As you probably all know, girl group Apink experienced a massive boost in popularity and status last year through Eunji's acting endeavours and the release of NoNoNo which ended up being the most streamed song of the year on Melon and one of the most downloaded songs on GAON's yearly chart.

Apart from that Apink was one of the best-selling girl groups of the year in physical sales, selling as many copies as Kara, with only SNSD and f(x) beating them.

 

Will this upcoming comeback be enough to consolidate their status, and perhaps even move them up further?

If you mean the follow up song that cemented their place? Then no, they haven't really had their big hit yet. Nonono was popular but no where near their version of Gee/Mister/Alone etc.

Anyway, I'd want to see APink walking into their own way of success rather than their song being called as the second "Genie" or whatever song they could compare it to.
