Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo sound like they have been using auto-tune (Lisa's japanese 'Majimakcheoreom' part killed me lmao). Why did YG do this? these girls have amazing voices and don't need auto tune. None the less japanese ver. was cuter then koreon ver. so lel.

I noticed they used more autotune in all of their songs. Either it suits Japanese taste better or they have a harder time grappling both the language barrier and the notes.

I'm always all for less autotune, but sometimes it just works better with it for different reasons

it's a stylistic choice and does nothing but enhances the girl's already great voices

and it's not like the "auto-tune" is over powering the whole song and you cant even barely hear it

I actually hear more of an echo effect on their vocals, maybe you're confusing it with autotune? They're autotuned as well but not too badly, except for Lisa's "saigo no yo" which does sound robotic.

the problem is the songs are translated from korean to japanese so the end note does not match most of the time. But it will not affect their live performances.

also teddy is very well known for auto tuning rap parts but now he rarely does it . (on live performances they just removes those auto tuned part from the mr)
